hovers na ČSFD.cz. hovers reconstructs a fleeting goal celebration from a football video game into a hypnotic stop-motion loop of nearly three-meter-high paintings. Centered on the logic of leapfrog, in which subject and object continually reverse, the gesture is stripped of its momentary festivity and becomes a hollow ritual. Refusing the game’s resumption, this “active hovering” sustains perpetual liminality against the system’s demand for resolution.
